Cyber security guide for farmers.

Andrew's Top 10 Takeaways

  1. Use 'Have I Been Pwned' to check if your email has been linked to a data breach, and update any compromised accounts.

  2. Strengthen your email account password, it’s the key gateway for password resets and sensitive information.

  3. Remember: longer is stronger when creating new passwords.
  4. Enable two-step verification on your email accounts.

  5. Update any machines still running Windows 10 as soon as possible.

  6. Improve mobile phone security by shortening lock times and enabling remote locking.

  7. Segregate Wi-Fi so that third parties only use your ‘Guest Wi-Fi’.

  8. Sign up to Cyber Resilience Centre newsletters.

  9. Download and review the Cyber Aware Action Plan.

  10. Review your cyber insurance cover to ensure it’s fit for your business.
